Calgary, AB, Oct. 30, 2021 – Just moments ago, Alberta’s own Halle Duke was crowned Equestrian Canada’s National U25 Champion. The record setting $40,000 National Finals event consisted of three competitions, and it was Halle who ended at the top of the podium with the Gold medal draped around her neck along with the title of Canada’s National U25 Champion. The Silver Medal was awarded to Claire Doty and the Bronze Medal went to Stella Chernoff.
Spring is in the air here at RMSJ and we are pleased to inform our supporters that we are in full swing preparing for the 2021 outdoor tournament season here at your venue. Looking at the positives in the recent Alberta Health lockdowns, we were fortunate to have the time to continue working on many projects we are sure will add to the quality of the venue and please all of you, our exhibitors.

Rocky Mountain Show Jumping has had a longstanding mandate of contributing to the building of the sport from the Grass Roots level. We have always believed that providing events catering to the “Up & Comers” of the sport is essential to promoting development of riders that will be our stars of the future. The list of riders that have began their careers here at RMSJ and gone on to the upper levels of the sport is impressive to say the least, and we are proud to say that we’ve had a part in their development, and can’t wait to see the next batch of young riders grow up through the ranks.
The cream rose to the top at the final Royal West Mini Series which played host to the 2020 Royal West Canadian Championship presented by Yann Candele this past Friday and Saturday night in downtown Calgary at Stampede Park.
The management of Rocky Mountain Show Jumping is pleased to announce that they will be taking their beloved Santa Claus Classic downtown to Stampede Park. The Royal West Santa Claus Series will host Hunter competitions on November 26th and Jumper competitions on December 3rd - 6th.
